THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU To Release New Song Via Exclusive Hot Topic EP

May 10, 2007

New Jersey-based progressive metal unit THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU will preview its first album in two years with an EP exclusively available at Hot Topic stores. The EP will include the brand new track "Sleeping With the Fishes, See?" from the band's hotly-anticipated new album "Mongrel". The limited edition EP — available for purchase at Hot Topic beginning May 22 — will also include an intro track and two bonus cuts.

"Mongrel" is set to drop on June 19, 2007 via New Jersey's Eyeball Records. Recorded and mixed in Seattle, WA with producer Casey Bates (HEAVY HEAVY LOW LOW, GATSBY’S AMERICAN DREAM),"Mongrel" advances THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU's unique sound to altogether new heights.

In other news, THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU has announced summer, 2007 tour plans in support of its long-awaited new album. The forward-thinking band will join this year's installment of the Sounds of the Underground tour — set to launch Friday, July 6 in Dallas, TX — alongside artists such as JOB FOR A COWBOY, SHADOWS FALL, DARKEST HOUR and more.

THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU, whose name is taken from a particularly dark, dystopian 1964 episode of the television series "The Twilight Zone", is known for its compelling music that unites complex extremity and anarchic charge. The band is in the midst of a pre-release U.S. tour now.

THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU features vocalists Jesse Korman and Justin Pedrick, guitarists Jamie McIlroy and Alex Pareja, bassist Christopher Russell-Walker and drummer Jon Karel.
