THE OFFSPRING Guitarist NOODLES To 'Step Away From Live Performances' Due To 'Fairly Serious Health Issue'

THE OFFSPRING guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman will "step away from live performances" for the immediate future "to deal with a sudden and fairly serious health issue."

Noodles announced his absence from the road in a statement shared on social media earlier today (Wednesday, October 21). He wrote: "It is with deep sadness that I have to announce that I need to step away from live performances for a while to deal with a sudden and fairly serious health issue.

"The rest of the band has my back, is super supportive, and will keep rocking you all in my absence. I hope to be back on stage sooner rather than later. Until then, I will miss all of you with all of my heart.

"Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts. I really appreciate it."

THE OFFSPRING has several shows on the schedule, including a gig this Saturday, October 24 at the Rock 2 Freedom benefit at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. They are also slated to perform on November 6 at SEMA Fest in Las Vegas; on November 21 at Corona Capital fest in Mexico City; and on January 16, 2027 at iHeartRadio's ALTer Ego 2027 event.

Noodles's most recent appearance with THE OFFSPRING took place this past Sunday, October 18 at Mission Bayfest in San Diego, California.

THE OFFSPRING is an American rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. Originally formed under the name MANIC SUBSIDAL, the band's current lineup consists of Noodles, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dexter Holland, bassist Todd Morse, drummer Brandon Pertzborn, and multi-instrumentalist Jonah Nimoy.

Over the course of its longstanding career, THE OFFSPRING has released ten studio albums.
