THE ORDER Pulls Out Of Switzerland's ROCKSOUND Festival

April 15, 2008

THE ORDER, the new project featuring former GURD guitarist Spring and PURE INC. singer Gianni Pontillo, has cancelled its previously announced June 7 appeaance at the Rocksound festival in Huttwil, Switzerland.

Commented Pontillo: "After being ill for a couple of times within the last months, I suddenly got problems with my voice. I'm suffering from hoarseness and I'm unable to sing at the level I expect me to sing. Now, a check-up with a throat specialist showed a polyp on my left vocal cord. Unfortunately the only way to remove this excrescence is a surgical treatment which will force me to rest for at least three months until my voice will be completely recovered. I decided to make this intervention within the next days and hope to be back and ready for the next THE ORDER concerts in August. I hope you understand my decision and it would be great to see you all very soon after my convalescence."

THE ORDER's second album, "Metal Casino", was released last August via Dockyard 1. The CD was recorded and produced by V.O. and Franky at the Little Creek Studios.
