THE PANIC CHANNEL Finish Mixing Seven Songs
January 18, 2006THE PANIC CHANNEL, the new band featuring three quarters of the most recent lineup of JANE'S ADDICTION (guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Chris Chaney) and former SKYCYCLE vocalist Steve Isaacs, have finished mixing seven songs for their debut album, tentatively due late spring via Capitol Records. "[We're] just about half-way [done] before we start to sequence the record and figure out which song(s),if any, will be saved for something else," Navarro writes on his web site. "The stuff is sounding killer and we are looking to come out sometime before summer. We have completed 'She Won't Last', 'Awake', 'Go On', 'Loophole', 'Bloody Mary', 'Said You'd Be' and 'Why Cry'. Today we are tackling 'Outsider'."
THE PANIC CHANNEL's debut CD was produced by Josh Abraham, who has previously worked with KORN, COURTNEY LOVE, LIMP BIZKIT and VELVET REVOLVER, among others.
