THE PANIC CHANNEL: New Songs Posted Online
May 10, 2006THE PANIC CHANNEL — the new band featuring three quarters of the most recent lineup of JANE'S ADDICTION (guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Chris Chaney) and former SKYCYCLE vocalist Steve Isaacs — have uploaded two new songs on their MySpace.com page. Check out the tracks "Teahouse of the Spirits" and "Why Cry" at this location. The songs will be available for download on May 16.
As previously reported, THE PANIC CHANNEL's debut album, "(ONe)", is scheduled for release on September 12 via Capitol. The CD was produced by Josh Abraham, whose resume includes such multi-platinum artists as KORN, COURTNEY LOVE, LIMP BIZKIT and VELVET REVOLVER, among others. Mixing duties were handled by Ryan Williams, who has previously worked with veteran producer Brendan O'Brien.
THE PANIC CHANNEL will headline a "live" Xbox Live session May 11 at E3, the video/computer game industry's annual showcase at the Los Angeles Convention Center. In their first major media exposure, the band will perform material from "(ON)e" and compete against fans in the new Xbox 360 "Project Gotham Racing 3" game.
