THE PRETTY RECKLESS Releases Music Video For 'About You (Bonus Version)'

October 19, 2026

THE PRETTY RECKLESS has unveiled the official music video for "About You (Bonus Version)". Taking fans behind the scenes on the road and in the studio, the video captures candid moments from the band's journey, offering a glimpse into their world beyond the stage. Watch the official music video below.

Originally featured on THE PRETTY RECKLESS's fifth studio album, "Dear God", released in June, the new version of "About You" includes additional instrumentation and backing vocals from FOO FIGHTERS' Dave Grohl and Pat Smear.

Speaking on the video, THE PRETTY RECKLESS singer Taylor Momsen shares: "We wanted to give you a glimpse into our world, from life on the road to moments we share in the studio. 'About You (Bonus Version)' is a little piece of that journey. But at the core, it is all about YOU. The fans who make it all possible. You’re the real stars of this one and we thank you."

Momsen previously said about the collaboration with Grohl and Smear: "'About You' is one of my favorite songs on the record, so I wanted to do something special. I called Dave and Pat and asked them if they'd lend their magic to it. It was an amazing time in the studio making music, there's nothing better than jamming with friends. I couldn't be happier with the result."

The release follows a landmark campaign for "Dear God", one of the defining rock records of 2026. "When I Wake Up" extended THE PRETTY RECKLESS's record-breaking streak with the band's ninth No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, the most by any female-led act in the chart's history. Produced by Taylor Momsen, Ben Phillips and Jonathan Wyman, their fifth studio album finds THE PRETTY RECKLESS embracing vulnerability, intensity, and creative freedom, delivering one of the band's most unfiltered releases to date.

Following the completion of the North American leg of their headlining "Dear God" tour and wrapping up the AC/DC "Power Up" tour after almost three years on the road with the rock legends, THE PRETTY RECKLESS recently performed at the Grammy Museum, offering fans an intimate look at their music and creative process. Momsen also reunited with SOUNDGARDEN at the Seattle Seahawks' season opener last month, joining the legendary rock band for a special performance. Additionally, the lead singer joined Matt Cameron, Mike McCready, Tom Morello and Robbie Mangano for a SOUNDGARDEN tribute at this year's Power To The People festival.

THE PRETTY RECKLESS is currently preparing to hit the road again for the European leg of the "Dear God" tour.

THE PRETTY RECKLESS is a record-breaking, platinum-selling rock band fronted by Taylor Momsen, whose commanding vocals move seamlessly between raw power and haunting vulnerability. Since breaking through with their 2010 debut album, "Light Me Up", the band has earned global acclaim with hits including the multi-platinum "Heaven Knows" and made history with nine No. 1 singles on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, the most of any female-led act. Known for their uncompromising songwriting and electrifying live performances, THE PRETTY RECKLESS have toured the world with rock legends including AC/DC, THE ROLLING STONES, SOUNDGARDEN, FOO FIGHTERS and GUNS N' ROSES, while selling out their own headlining shows around the globe. Their acclaimed fourth album, "Death By Rock And Roll", debuted at No. 1 on multiple rock charts, followed by the 2025 holiday EP "Taylor Momsen's Pretty Reckless Christmas". The band's fifth studio album, "Dear God", is out now, delivering one of the defining rock records of 2026. Produced by Momsen, Ben Phillips and Jonathan Wyman, the album embraces vulnerability, intensity and artistic freedom, resulting in one of the band's most raw and uncompromising records yet. Its single "When I Wake Up" became their ninth No. 1 and fifth consecutive chart-topper. Some of Momsen's landmark appearances include performing "Rusty Cage" with SOUNDGARDEN at the band's Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction, joining FOO FIGHTERS at the 2026 MusiCares "Person Of The Year Gala" honoring Mariah Carey and performing with Luke Spiller during "A Grammy Salute To The Beach Boys". THE PRETTY RECKLESS are currently supporting "Dear God" on a worldwide headlining tour.
