THE PROJECT HATE: Unreleased DEADMARCH Recordings Available For Download

August 15, 2005

THE PROJECT HATE, the Swedish band featuring Jörgen Sandström of ENTOMBED/GRAVE fame on lead vocals, have posted the following message on their official web site:

"Now we have quite a treat for you Haters... Most of you probably heard about the lost 'DEADMARCH' tapes, right? If not, let's put long story in short:

"DEADMARCH was the complete embryo to what finally became THE PROJECT HATE. We recorded one album, but it never saw the light of day. After THE PROJECT HATE was formed and years passed, we dug the album out from the archives and gave it a few listens and thought about the possibility to have [Jörgen] re-record the vocals for it since [Kenth Philipson, guitar] was never satisfied with the vocal outcome. Yes, you got it, [Jörgen] didn't do the original vocals for the album — that being one of the reasons we never released it. The intention was to release it as a special treat for our fans, cos the album itself holds many aspects we think our fans would've loved to hear. This plan, thanx to many reasons (mentioned pretty in-depth at the forums),never happened. So we have decided to give you all the unreleased album for downloading for a short period of time.

"Yeah, yeah, we know, we are completely awesome.

"There's only one 'but' to it: It means that you have to register at our forums to find the links to all the songs and detailed info about the album and why it never was re-recorded.

"This album might be something to still yer hunger a little while waiting for October 5th when the new masterpiece gets released worldwide..."

The follow-up to 2003's "Hate, Dominate, Congregate, Eliminate", THE PROJECT HATE's new album, "Armageddon March Eternal (Symphonies of Slit Wrists)" was produced by Dan Swanö and features a special guest appearance by EVERGREY bassist Michael Håkansson, who completed his tracks at his studio in Gothenburg before the entire recording was shipped off to Swanö to be mixed and mastered.
