THE PROPHECY Announce New Bassist

Yorkshire, England-based doom/death metallers THE PROPHECY have announced the addition of bassist Gavin Parkingson (TEFRA) to the group's ranks."All being well, he will be joining us for live performances in the near future," the band write on their web site. "Gavin will be continuing to play for his other band TEFRA. In the meantime, THE PROPHECY are still looking for a rhythm guitarist to complete the band lineup in preparation for a rigorous touring schedule in 2005. THE PROPHECY's video for "Killing Fields", which was shot in 2004 by Hamish Glencross of MY DYING BRIDE, is available to buy on the "Pure Blood" DVD which contains 10 videos by top British bands organized by the Bloodstock Festival.
