THE QUILL: 'Keep The Circle Whole' Video In The Works
August 24, 2006Sweden's THE QUILL has issued the following update:
"Back from a long, hot (even in Sweden) summer vacation. What's going to happen next in QUILL-land? Well, we did film the entire Sweden Rock Festival show and that material will first of all end up as a video for 'Keep the Circle Whole'. It will be edited within the next month and posted here on TheQuill.se as well as sent out to medias.
"Right now we are also looking into the possibilities of touring this fall. There are several negotiations going on but as alway we don't know what the outcome will be. We might be touring a lot, a bit, or almost nothing. Let's hope for a lot, or?
"Anyway, as soon as anything is confirmed, we'll let you know."
THE QUILL's fifth album, "In Triumph", was released in April via SPV/Steamhammer. The CD was recorded at Area 51 studios in Celle, Germany with producer Tommy Newton (VICTORY, UFO, HELLOWEEN). The group's video for the song "Broken Man" has been posted online at this location.
THE QUILL last year announced the addition of bassist Robert Triches to the group's ranks. Triches joined THE QUILL as the replacement for Roger Nilsson (ex-SPIRITUAL BEGGARS, FIREBIRD),who left the band in May 2005 after almost 12 years and four albums.
