THE RAYGUN GIRLS: New EP Samples Available

June 16, 2007

Queens Village, New York's THE RAYGUN GIRLS has posted two audio clips from its upcoming EP, due later in the year through KillZone Records. Check out the songs "Look at Me" and "The Ones I Denied" at the group's MySpace page.

THE RAYGUN GIRLS play a blend of gothic, industrial rock/metal with an edge of punk attitude to create catchy, guitar driven songs. Drawing on a whole array of influences such as RAMMSTEIN, FEAR FACTORY, DANZIG, KILLING JOKE, SISTERS OF MERCY, NINE INCH NAILS, THE CRYSTAL METHOD, THE RAMONES, and SIOUSIXE AND THE BANSHEES, THE RAYGUN GIRLS have already drawn attention to themselves with two self-released albums, and have received favorable comparisons to LACUNA COIL, STABBING WESTWARD and STATIC-X.

KillZone Records first had the chance to see THE RAYGUN GIRLS when they showcased at The Rock Solid Pressure Showcase in Lakeland, Florida in October of 2006. THE RAYGUN GIRLS use contemporary beats that drive crunching metal riffs and solos with a dynamic female vocalist leading from the front, to create the band's own sound high energy and drive.
