THE RODS was scheduled to shoot its very first HD-DVD at the legendary The Haunt nightclub in Ithaca, New York in May 2009. This performance was in support of THE RODS' forthcoming CD, "Vengeance", which features Ronnie James Dio's vocals on selected tracks. The show was also a precursor to the band's appearance at last year's Headbangers Open Air festival, which was held July 23-25, 2009 in in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany.

THE RODS' lineup includes Feinstein on guitar/vocals, Garry Bordonaro on bass and Carl Canedy on drums.
