THE SECRET To Begin Recording New Album

Trieste, Italy-based metal quartet THE SECRET will travel from Italy to Sweden next week to record its second full-length album with producer Magnus Lindberg at Tonteknik Recordings in Umea. Magnus is well known for his recording prowess and is also a member of the band CULT OF LUNA. Many notable bands have recorded at Tonteknik, including REFUSED, IN FLAMES, POISON THE WELL and CULT OF LUNA, among others.

THE SECRET's upcoming sophomore album will be entitled "Disintoxication". The album will contain ten new songs, including "Funeral Song", "Saul", "In Limbs", "Death To Pigs" and "Inferno". Demo versions of two songs from the record can be heard online now at the band's official MySpace page. The CD will be released on Goodfellow in early 2008.

The members of THE SECRET will be posting updates from the studio via their myspace page throughout the next couple of weeks.
