THE SHOWDOWN Preparing To Hit The Road

Tennessee's THE SHOWDOWN has issued the following update:

"We are gearing up right now to go on our winter tour. We are working on stuff that we have never played live ever, songs we haven't played in years, and of course we will be playin' some regulars! We are trying to make the shows extra special heavy for the holidays! Come out and get a dose of high-voltage heavy metal right in time for Christmas."

Dec. 09 - KY Combat Club - London, Kentucky
Dec. 10 - Uncle Pleasants - Louisville, Kentucky
Dec. 11 - Summit City Cafe - Whitesburg, Kentucky
Dec. 12 - The Hideaway - Johnson City, Tennessee
Dec. 15 - The National Guard Armory - Middlesboro, Kentucky

Back in May THE SHOWDOWN filmed the video for the song "Temptation Come My Way" with accomplished music video director Doug Spangenberg, who has worked with NORMA JEAN, THIS IS HELL, TERROR and LAMB OF GOD.

THE SHOWDOWN was named one of AP's "100 Bands You Need To Know" In '07, and was profiled as a "Band To Watch" in Revolver magazine.
