THE SWORD Announce Album Title, Track Listing

December 7, 2005

Dynamic Austin, Texas-based quartet THE SWORD have set "Age of Winters" as the title of their debut full-length album, set for a February 14, 2006 release via Kemado Records.

THE SWORD, whose thick, molten sound combines metal's beloved past with the forward-thinking enthusiasm of today's heavy music elite, deliver exhilarating songs — featuring huge riffs and intense drumming — that are at once melodious, catchy and punishing. The band showcased material from "Age of Winters" at three sold-out New York City live performances last month.

The final track listing for "Age of Winters" is:

01. Celestial Crown
02. Barael’s Blade
03. Freya
04. Winter’s Wolves
05. The Horned Goddess
06. Iron Swan
07. Lament for the Aurochs
08. March of the Lor
09. Ebethron

The song "Iron Swan" has been posted online and can be previewed at this location.
