THE VISION BLEAK: In Pre-Production Mode

January 25, 2007

German horror metal band THE VISION BLEAK is currently in pre-production for its third, as-yet-untitled album. According to the band, the follow-up to "Carpathia" is going to be "more guitar-based, harder, but also more dramatic and melodic," promising their most sinister work to date. In early February, THE VISION BLEAK will enter Klangschmiede Studio E for the fine-tuning of the recordings and the mix for an indefinite period of time.

THE VISION BLEAK's sophomore album, "Carpathia", was released in August 2005 via Prophecy Productions. The follow-up to 2004's "The Deathship Has a New Captain" was described by the band's Ulf Theodor Schwadorf as "the fateful story of a businessman becoming heir to the old estates of his family in far and strange Carpathia."
