THE WILDHEARTS: Spanish Dates Announced

August 18, 2008

Long-running British rockers THE WILDHEARTS have announced three shows in Spain in October:

Oct. 16 - Madrid, Spain - El Sol
Oct. 17 - Barcelona, Spain - Razzmatazz 2
Oct. 18 - Bilbao, Spain - Kafe Antzoki

As previously reported, THE WILDHEARTS will perform a third concert to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of the release of the "Earth Vs The Wildhearts" album. In addition to the previously announced September 20 show at Shepherds Bush Empire in London and the November 23 gig at Akasaka Britz in Tokyo, Japan, the band will play Tavastia in Helsinki, Finland on Friday, September 19. All three gigs will feature "Earth Vs..." performed live in its entirety along with all of the B-sides from that era.

THE WILDHEARTS released "Stop Us If You've Heard This One Before Vol. 1" digitally on May 19.

The 12-track album is a collection of covers from some of THE WILDHEARTS' favorite bands and is available to download worldwide from all major (and not-so-major) digital stores.

"Stop Us..." marks the first time that each member of the band has taken on lead vocal duties on a WILDHEARTS release.
