THEM CROOKED VULTURES Interviewed On Detroit's WRIF 101.1 FM; Audio Available

October 14, 2009

Meltdown of WRIF 101.1 FM radio station conducted an interview with all three members of THEM CROOKED VULTURES prior to the band's October 8, 2009 performance in Detroit, Michigan. The chat is now available for streaming using the audio player below.

THEM CROOKED VULTURES officially kicked off its first North American tour on October 5 in Nashville. The highly hyped supergroup, which consists of FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl on drums, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE singer/guitarist Josh Homme and LED ZEPPELIN bass player John Paul Jones, has been the subject of furious international buzz since making its official live debut on August 9 in Chicago. Although a debut album has been completed, a release date has yet to be announced.

FOO FIGHTERS drummer Taylor Hawkins told The Pulse of Radio he's heard the VULTURES' record and likes it. "It's really great," he said. "I'm really proud of Dave, and I think he's having a real blast not having to shake his booty at the front of the stage for a while, you know?"

THEM CROOKED VULTURES taped a performance for the Austin City Limits TV program on September 30, with an airdate to be determined.

Quality fan-filmed video footage of THEM CROOKED VULTURES's October 11, 2009 performance at the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts can be viewed below (courtesy of "HowellKenny"). Photos of the show are available at EmpyreLounge.com.
