THERAPY? Back To A Three-Piece

March 18, 2004

As of March 16, 2004, Martin McCarrick (guitar/cello) is no longer a member of THERAPY? and all future recordings and live work will be performed as a trio. "We appreciate that this may come as a surprise to our fans and friends, however the reasons for this decision are purely professional rather than personal," the band said in a statement. "This was far from an easy decision to make as Martin has been an important part of the band for nine years but we feel that this is the best way to ensure a positive future for THERAPY? We wish Martin all the best with his future projects, musically or otherwise."

THERAPY? will kick off a U.K. tour with THE WILDHEARTS in late April. The group have also been working on the material for the follow-up to last year's "High Anxiety", tentatively due in early 2005 through Spitfire Records. Songtitles set to appear on the as-yet-untitled CD include "Polar Bear", "Long Distance", "Here Be Monsters" and "Panic!".
