ÆTHEREAL To Release 'Premonitions' Next Week

August 9, 2008

Umeå, Sweden-based band ÆTHEREAL, the brainchild of Phil Creswell (ex-DUMAH),will release its debut album, the concept record "Premonitions", on August 15 via Black Goat Records.

"Premonitions" was recorded during the early months of 2008 and the record follows the harrowing tale of a man who awakens to realize that he's in Hell, only to find that no one else seems to know. It's an epic journey through the mind of a man who could be trying to save the innocent people around him, or simply be delusionally homicidal.

Using art from Gustave Doré's work for the epic classic "Paradise Lost" for the cover art, ÆTHEREAL enlisted Christophe Szpajdel (whose work includes the logos for EMPEROR and BORKNAGAR, among hundreds of others) for a brand new logo and lettering for the album. The dark visuals match the expansive darkness and perversity contained within this stunning epic work.

"Premonitions" track listing:

01. A Coming Storm
02. Premonitions
03. Haunted by Visions
04. Suicide Hymn
05. The Dark Apostle
06. Mendicant
07. Motion Blur
08. Dancing in Blood
09. White Room
10. A Bitter Taste
