THERION To Begin Pre-Production For New Album Next Week

Sweden's THERION will be starting pre-production for the new album next week, according to a posting on the group's official web site. "The recordings will be interupted to do some festivals in March," the posting adds. "There will be some surprises on stage on the MetalMania festivals..."

THERION are one of the bands confirmed for the MetalMania 2006 festival, set to take place March 4 at Spodek in Katowice, Poland. Other acts scheduled to appear at the event include ACID DRINKERS, ANATHEMA, CALIBAN, HIERONYMUS BOSCH, HUNTER, MOONSPELL, NEVERMORE, PAINMUSEUM, SOILWORK, U.D.O. and UNLEASHED.
