THESYRE Mainman Completes Work On UNLIFE Recordings; Audio Available

THESYRE's bassist/vocalist Eric Syre has completed the recordings for UNLIFE, a project dealing with dark/ambient/industrial music. The whole recording (over one hour of music) is available for free at www.unlife.org.

THESYRE's third album, "Exist!", was released in November via Osmose Productions. The single 32:44 song, said to be the band's most accomplished work to date, is a hybrid of thrash metal, heavy metal and black metal with hints of hardcore. The album was dedicated to the memory of Denis "Piggy" D'Amour, VOIVOD's late guitarist.

THESYRE's second full-length album, "Duality", was issued in 2005 via Selbstmord Records from Sweden.
