THIN LIZZY: Cardiff Concert Footage, Photos Available

December 24, 2007

Fan-filmed video footage of THIN LIZZY's November 28, 2007 concert at St. David's Hall in Cardiff, Wales can be viewed below. Photos from the gig can be viewed at LucemFero.com.

To celebrate 30 years since the recording of the classic live album "Live And Dangerous", THIN LIZZY played the full album sequentially and in its entirety during its recent UK tour. For the first time since its original live recording in Hammersmith 30 years ago, fans were able to experience this outstanding album played live.

"Live And Dangerous" set the standard for live concert recordings and truly reflects the status of THIN LIZZY as one of rock's best live bands. The tour also dovetails the recent release of THIN LIZZY's "Live and Dangerous" concert on DVD.

Says founding THIN LIZZY guitarist Scott Gorham, "This album meant too much, not only to us as a band, but to our fans as well, to let the 30th anniversary of its recording pass without celebrating it in some way."

THIN LIZZY's current lineup includes vocalist/guitarist John Sykes, guitarist Scott Gorham, bassist Francesco DiCosmo and drummer Tommy Aldridge. The band in 2006 commemorated the 20th year since THIN LIZZY mainman Phil Lynott's passing by dedicating and performing 20 dates in remembrance of their late frontman. Dubbed the "20/20 Tour", the trek saw the band hammering out all of the greatest hits and a few rarities.
