THINE EYES BLEED Added To Canadian Dates On SLAYER Tour

December 7, 2006

Canadian thrash/metalcore act THINE EYES BLEED — who feature in their ranks former KITTIE guitarist/technician Jeff Phillips and bassist Johnny Araya (brother of SLAYER's Tom Araya) — have been added to three Canadian tour stops on SLAYER's upcoming North American tour in February (including a hometown show in London, Ontario). The dates are as follows:

Feb. 07 - Labatt Center - London, ONT
Feb. 08 - Copps Coliseum - Hamilton, ONT
Feb. 09 - Scotiabank Place - Ottawa, ONT

Also appearing on the bill is UNEARTH.

About the upcoming shows, THINE EYES BLEED frontman Justin Wolfe comments, "It's going to great to see the guys again. You can never get enough SLAYER."

THINE EYES BLEED recently returned from a month-long tour of Europe as part of the "Unholy Alliance Chapter II: Preaching To The Perverted" (SLAYER, IN FLAMES, LAMB OF GOD, CHILDREN OF BODOM). "The shows were through the roof, the fans were insane, everything you'd expect from European crowds, really," says Wolfe. "We were very happy with the response being over there for the first time. We seemed to win the crowd over night after night and making many new fans overseas. The bands, the crews, everyone worked together and made the tour not only a huge success but a really good time!"

THINE EYES BLEED recently re-released their 2005 debut for The End Records, entitled "In the Wake of Separation". The CD now includes the bonus track "Better off Dead" (previously available only in Japan) and the video for "Cold Victim".
