THINE EYES BLEED Frontman Checks In From European 'Unholy Alliance' Tour

November 2, 2006

THINE EYES BLEED frontman Justin Wolfe has checked in from the the band's "Unholy Alliance" European tour, which also features SLAYER, IN FLAMES, LAMB OF GOD and CHILDREN OF BODOM:

"We are at about the halfway mark of the European run, the shows have been huge and the fans seem to have a hell of a lot more energy out here. The crowds are coming out early and showing us lots of love so we couldn't ask for anything else. It's great to see all the bands/crews again, there's definitely a strong family vibe on this tour. We miss our brothers in MASTODON but IN FLAMES has been a nice addition indeed — especially at the poker table!

"CHILDREN OF BODOM and LAMB OF GOD are continuing to crush the audiences night after night and SLAYER has added 'Jihad' to the set which is absolutely brutal. I haven't missed their set yet! I would have to say that the fans in Cardiff really brought it to the table, probably the best crowd we have ever seen. From the first note in our set to the last note from SLAYER they were non-stop! Truly amazing, truly metal!

"Cheers to all the new fans and faces we have come across so far!! There's a lot more comin'! Bring on the thrash!"

THINE EYES BLEED recently re-released their 2005 debut for The End Records, entitled "In the Wake of Separation". The CD now includes the bonus track "Better off Dead" (previously available only in Japan) and the video for "Cold Victim".
