Consisting of Rick Armellino (vocals),Jack Esbenshade (guitars),Rodney Phillips (guitars),Grant McFarland (drums) and Sean Hennessey (bass),THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE encompasses a sound that melds the fine Pennsylvania traditions that have brought us the likes of AUGUST BURNS RED, A LIFE ONCE LOST and THIS DAY FORWARD while taking their musical direction to a new and uncharted height. Exhibiting a veteran-like display of confidence and focus, THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE's accelerated evolution redefines how bands come into their own. THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE tightrope walks between masterfully crafted time signatures, dense rock grooves and melodic atmosphere. Their music combines the precision and technical prowess of MESHUGGAH with the raw, emotive urgency of SHAI HULUD and MISERY SIGNALS: A sound that is loud, compelling, and unique.
