THRASH OF THE TITANS—ROCK AGAINST CANCER: More Details Revealed

Thrash Of The Titans—Rock Against Cancer is the official name of the metal festival currently set to take place at Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil on April 20th in front of an anticipated audience of 20,000. According to the festival organizers, the concert will feature appearances from a total of 14 bands on two different stages, among them the following:

TESTAMENT
MACHINE HEAD
DEATH ANGEL
EXODUS
FLOTSAM AND JETSAM
VIO-LENCE
HEATHEN
SADUS
KORZUS
AKASHIC

Three more local acts are expected to be confirmed for the event in the coming weeks. The festival with run from noon until about 2:00 AM, and part of the proceeds will reportedly go to local cancer research, although exact details of the charity donation have yet to be divulged. As previously reported, SEPULTURA were unable to confirm their participation in the festival due to a scheduling conflict caused by the group's prior commitment to take part in the Abril Pro Rock festival in Recife, Brazil on the same day (April 20th) that the above-mentioned event is set to take place.
