THRESHOLD Confirms Album Cover Artist
October 28, 2006U.K. progressive metallers THRESHOLD have confirmed that their new CD artwork will be created by Thomas Ewerhard, whose credits include KING'S X, VANDEN PLAS and ASIA. Thomas Ewerhard has been responsible for THRESHOLD's artwork since 1998, including the iconic "Hypothetical" and "Subsurface" covers.
THRESHOLD is currently tracking the follow-up to their 2004 album "Subsurface". Recording is taking place at Thin Ice Studios and Bray Studios in the south of England, produced by Karl Groom and Richard West.
The new album has a working title of "Pilot in the Sky of Dreams", and the songtitles are (in no particular order):

02. This Is Your Life
03. Elusive
04. Disappear
05. Fighting For Breath
06. Hollow
07. Safe To Fly
08. One Degree Down
09. Landing Lights
THRESHOLD's last album, "Subsurface", picked up 15 "Album Of The Month" awards across the globe. Earlier this year the band moved to Nuclear Blast Records to join a highly successful roster of bands including IN FLAMES, NIGHTWISH and BLIND GUARDIAN.
Recording and mixing of "Pilot in the Sky of Dreams" is expected to be completed in November, with a release planned for early in 2007.
