September 24, 2010

KYRBGRINDER, the London, England-based three-piece led by THRESHOLD drummer Johanne James, will release its second album, "Cold War Technology", on October 11 via Kyrbgrinder Records, distributed by Code 7/Plastic Head.

Hard-rockin' funky, riffy, metal grooves, a keen sense of melody and an engaging appeal is what you can expect from KYRBGRINDER. Fronted by four-time Classic Rock Society "Drummer Of The Year" Johanne James, the band was formed as a means of sharing Johanne's unique style of hard driving and infectious melodic rock that refuses to be pigeonholed, appealing to a wide spectrum of fans.

KYRBGRINDER is:

* Johanne James - Drums, Lead Vocals
* Tom Caris - Guitar
* Alberto "Albi" Flaibani - Bass

Following the release of KYRBGRINDER's debut album, "Defiance", on the legendary metal label Mausoleum Records, the gigged extensively, building a hardcore fanbase and an awesome live reputation. They have successfully appeared on the main stage of the Bulldog Bash two years running and regularly play at venues/festivals such as the Astoria, Underworld, Bloodstock, Carling Academy and the Cambridge Rock Festival, to name but a few.
