THROWN INTO EXILE Releases New Single 'Remorse' Featuring ARCH ENEMY's MICHAEL AMOTT

California blackened melodeath metallers THROWN INTO EXILE have shared a new single, "Remorse", featuring a guest solo by guitarist Michael Amott of ARCH ENEMY. "Remorse" marks THROWN INTO EXILE's second release under the BLKIIBLK banner, giving fans another taste of what's to come in 2027. The new track arrives alongside a music video, available below.

THROWN INTO EXILE comments: "'Remorse' is a personal song that deals with how much of yourself you are willing to give to something that only results in being where you started and the emotional weight that comes with that, past mistakes, things that could have been handled better and carrying that with you."

With a career marked by constant change and evolution, Los Angeles's THROWN INTO EXILE is a band on the brink. Exhaustive international touring and gigs alongside the likes of ARCH ENEMY, ORBIT CULTURE, AT THE GATES, DETHKLOK and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, as well as U.S. and European festivals, including the U.K.'s Bloodstock, have paved the way.

Now, THROWN INTO EXILE breaks through further with the release of "Remorse". With the addition of 27-year-old vocalist Josh Santos, the stakes have grown as the band's new material brings together urgent riffing with underlying melody that recalls both American and European sounds while delivering modern metal with unapologetic intensity.

On working with THROWN INTO EXILE, Michael Amott comments: "I've been watching THROWN INTO EXILE steadily grow over the last couple of years, so when [THROWN INTO EXILE guitarist] Mario [Rubio] brought the opportunity to lay down a guest solo on one of their tracks, it was a no-brainer to team up with my current tour mates. Give it a listen!"

Rubio on the significance of having Amott contribute to the track: "What more can I say that hasn't been said? He is the master of melodies, and having his feel and legendary phrasing on this song is nothing short of an honor. What an experience to trade a lead with him!"

THROWN INTO EXILE is currently on the road supporting ARCH ENEMY and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER.
