THURISAZ Begins Writing New Material

August 21, 2008

Belgian metallers THURISAZ have issued the following update:

"After the tours in Spain, Portugal, Ireland and The Netherlands, we took some nice and relaxing holidays. Now we're ready to start a new area in the THURISAZ history. We're planning to record a new album hopefully next year and we started to write some new songs for the third album. We're still hoping to do a few tours before the new album, so we signed a contract deal with our good friend Adrian from Lugga Music to arrange more tours and shows abroad in the future."

Upcoming THURISAZ shows:

Sep. 20 – Façade of Funeral fest III - Stekene (Gent),Belgium
Sep. 27 - Rock wervik - Wervik, Belgium
Nov. 01 - Het Depot - Leuven, Belgium
Nov. 11 - Blikfest V - Beveren-Waas, Belgium

THURISAZ had its 2004 debut album, "Scent of a Dream", reissued in April through Shiver Records. The album was remastered and contains an acoustic live version of "Years of Silence" as the bonus track.

THURISAZ' second full-length album, "Circadian Rhythm", was released last year via Shiver.
