THY MAJESTIE Complete Work On Five 'Killer' New Songs

June 16, 2006

Italy's THY MAJESTIE have posted the following message on their official web site:

"Just a quick note to inform you that THY MAJESTIE have composed five new songs for the new album. Five killer songs, maybe the best stuff we have ever composed. At the moment, we don't know which record label will release the new album."

As previously reported, THY MAJESTIE recently announced the addition of singer Matt Aub (TIMELORD) to the group's ranks. "Matt sent us a demo of 'Maiden of Steel' sung by him and... WOW, brilliant! Great 'heavy metal' voice," the band wrote in early May. "So we decided to accept him, even if he lives thousand miles from us, in the U.S.A."

THY MAJESTIE parted ways with vocalist Giulio Di Gregorio (IRENCROS) due to "personal reasons." The band's latest album, "Jean D'Arc", was released last fall via Scarlet Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Hastings 1066" was mastered at The Mastering Room in Sweden by Goran Finnberg.
