THY WILL BE DONE Remembers DIMEBAG

December 8, 2009

Rhode Island-based five-piece THY WILL BE DONE has released the following message:

"I don't think a single fan of heavy metal will EVER forget that extra cold December day in 2004.

"Our mundane lives were abruptly interrupted and December 8th forever changed the way we look at ourselves and the world around. It changed how we listened to his music.

"Now, we don't just 'listen' to his music, we LISTEN to his music and feel it on a completely different level.

"If only we had this genuine appreciation for life automatically without having to first suffer a tragedy. If only we could embrace LIFE and LIVE it and appreciate all life to it's fullest, like Dime did! THAT is his true legacy!

"So, whatever your thing is: burn some candles in his honor, blacktooth grins, smoke a bowl, share stories, watch some videos, DO IT! BUT most importantly, blast PANTERA and DAMAGEPLAN's cathartic tunes and shout your lungs out!!!

"Please, watch [below] what I feel is one of the most important messages about music and preserving its true energy.

"Thank you for the inspiration, thank you for the riffs, but most of all, THANK YOU for your LOVE of LIFE!

"See you on the other shore!"
