TIAMAT Frontman Turns Movie Critic

November 6, 2006

TIAMAT frontman Johan Edlund has posted the following message on his official MySpace page

"Boy, never thought I'd use the word boy... but... boy (s and girls)... the new 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning' is AWESOME!!! I got to see it on a BIG screen (full colour, mostly dark red!!!)!!! I watched 'Capote' the following day and that/he got an Academy Award...??? It was propably the most boring piece of crap I've ever seen (no colour could save it)! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... People are so damn predictable! Just because you talk with a retarded comatose voice doesn't mean you're up for an Oscar (I tried, didn't get any nominations...)! These meatslicers in 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning' are actually pretty good actors/slicers/godknowswhat... As my grandpa always told me... 'You only need two steps to pass the river but use five... just in case...'"

TIAMAT's "The Church of Tiamat" DVD entered the Swedish Music DVD chart at position No. 5 back in early May. An e-card for the DVD is available at this location. The e-card contains several features, such as a streamable sample video of the DVD, the band's most recent tour dates, photos as well as detailed information on TIAMAT itself and the band's first official DVD release. The video teaser gives you the opportunity to check out the following songs: "Vote For Love", "Children Of The Underworld" and "Gaia".

TIAMAT, whose last studio album, "Prey", was released in 2003 through Century Media, is currently unsigned.
