TIAMAT's Classic 'Wildhoney' Album To Be Reissued In May

March 9, 2006

TIAMAT's classic "Wildhoney" album (1994, Century Media) will be reissued in May — only weeks after the release of the group's "The Church of Tiamat" DVD, which is scheduled to arrive on April 24 via Century Media. "This will be a 'Wildhoney'-on-steroids [release] which will include a new layout with extensive (exhausting?) liner notes plus acoustic versions of 'Gaia' and 'Do You Dream Of Me?' plus maybe even more," the band write in a statement.

As previously reported, TIAMAT have "written and recorded ideas for about five [new] songs, with more to go in the 'near' future," according to bassist Anders Iwers. The band, whose last studio album, "Prey", was released in 2003 through Century Media, are currently unsigned and are composing material for a demo that they will use to procure a new label home. "And [then] hopefully, world domination will ensue," Iwers joked to BLABBERMOUTH.NET.
