TIINA LEHVONEN Leaves SILENTIUM

November 20, 2002

Vocalist Tiina Lehvonen has left Finnish atmospheric doom metallers SILENTIUM, citing personal reasons for her departure. "At the moment my life is at the point where I can't give 100% effort for SILENTIUM," said Lehvonen in a statement. "New material is so great, I see no point singing my parts poorly because I can't fully concentrate. This is not the complete departure and I'll sing some smaller parts in forthcoming album and the time will tell what shall happen. I wish all the best for the band and the people who'd associated with us. Especially I want to thank the fans for all my heart, you make this thing suberb! :) w/ luv, Tiina"

As previously reported, SILENTIUM will enter Sundicoop Studio in Savonlinna on Jan. 13, 2003 to record their third full-length album, "Harmátia de Prudence", with producer and NIGHTWISH mainman Tuomas Holopainen.
