TIM 'RIPPER' OWENS: European Solo Tour Announced

Powerhouse American vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, BEYOND FEAR, ex-JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH) has scheduled the following European solo tour dates:

Sep. 15 - Ballroom - Hamburg, Germany
Sep. 16 - K17 - Berlin, Germany
Sep. 17 - Krushfest - Jaslo, Poland
Sep. 18 - Stodola - Warsaw, Poland
Sep. 19 - [to be announced] - Poland
Sep. 21 - Exit Music Hall - Prague, Czech Republic
Sep. 22 - Faval Music - Brno, Czech Republic
Sep. 23 - Randal Klub -Bratislava, Slovakia
Sep. 24 - Viper Room- Vienna, Austria
Sep. 25 - [to be announced] - Zagreb, Croatia
Sep. 26 - Matrioska Club - Modena Italy

Owens last summer wrapped up a short European tour as the support act for HEAVEN & HELL.

Tim's backing band for the trek consisted of the following musicians:

Chris Caffery (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORHCESTRA) - Guitar
John Comprix (BEYOND FEAR, RINGWORM) - Guitar
David Ellefson (MEGADETH, F5) - Bass
Simon Wright (AC/DC, DIO) - Drums

"Play My Game", the first solo album from Owens, landed at position No. 66 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Play My Game" was released via SPV/Steamhammer. The offering consists of around a dozen brand-new tracks that Owens composed himself or together with renowned friends, such as Bob Kulick, Chris Caffery (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA),Mike Callahan (ex-EARSHOT) and John Comprix (BEYOND FEAR, RINGWORM).
