TIM 'RIPPER' OWENS Launches 'Rockin' Sports Eatery' In Akron

October 6, 2010

Powerhouse American vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens' (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, BEYOND FEAR, ex-JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH) has joined forces with restaurateur Randy Arehart to re-launch the current Tap House on Waterloo Road in Akron, Ohio on Saturday, October 16 to become a "rockin' sports eatery" named Ripper Owens Tap House.

The restaurant remains open while currently serving thousands a week during the transformation into a rock and roll sports museum. The restaurant has retained the services of culinary great chef Jay Saulsberry, who has helped in the process of re-designing a family-friendly menu with a strong emphasis on serving a high-volume lunch and dinner crowd.

With the combination of the rock and sports memorabilia, the guests will be encouraged to take a tour of the new Ripper Owens Tap House and to join the trademarked "World Tour of Wings."

While the focus will remain on excellent food and service, the main goal of the team is for the guests to leave feeling like a rock star!

For more information, contact Randy Arehart or Tim Owens at 330-785-3500 or e-mail at: [email protected].
