TIWANAKU Part Ways With Singer WADE BLACK

June 18, 2005

TIWANAKU, the new band featuring ex-NOCTURNUS bassist Emo Mowery, ex-ACHERON/BURNING INSIDE guitarist Mike Estes, and ex-YETI/DESPERATE CRY drummer Chris Pistillo, have parted ways with singer Wade Black (ex-CRIMSON GLORY, SEVEN WITCHES). Mowery's official statement on the matter reads as follows:

"Due to personal and business differences, I have decided that it is in the band's best interest to dismiss Wade from the band. Over the course of the past couple of months the signs have been popping up that our partnership was fading and in the past two weeks there has been some developments that led me to make the decision to let him go. This was a VERY hard decision for me to make as some of you know that Wade and I are like brothers. I had to put our friendship aside to make this decision and I am hoping that once the dust clears, our friendship will hold. There is no reason for me to go into complete details at this time as I think that it would not be the right thing to do and like the rest of the band says, 'The differences are between Wade and I.' We in TIWANAKU hope the best for Wade and wish him good luck in his future endeavors. Good luck man!

"Right now I am looking into singing all the vocals myself making this a one singer band again or if we can find the 'right guy,' we'll entertain the possibility of a replacement. There are a couple guys in the immediate area that have already shown interest and would like to audition for the clean vocal spot. So we'll see what pans out but for right now we are going under the assumption that this will be a one-singer band again so we can move forward now and not later. If you would like to be considered for an audition please contact us at [email protected] with all of your relative information.

"TIWANAKU WILL SURVIVE!!!!

"On a good note there are some new developments brewing that will put TIWANAKU back into the studio at the end of the year!! We are also in negotiations for a South American tour, after our debut album is released, in the spring of next year. Definite dates will be announced as soon as we have them. We are also working towards playing some live shows right here in the state of Florida very soon.
