TNT Vocalist TONY MILLS Signs New Deal With Z RECORDS

November 3, 2006

Vocalist Tony Mills (TNT, ex-SHY) has signed a new deal with Z Records. Tony's new album will be a total AOR project which will please fans of his former band SHY and JOURNEY. Tony, who is currently in pre-production with TNT, commented: "Having worked with many writers this year, I have co-written many songs that really fit into a softer rock mould that didn't work for some of the heavier projects I've been involved in. Working with Tor Talle (THE NORTHERN LIGHT),Tony Marshall (VAUGHN),Charlie Giardina and HARDWAY, Mick Blakk, Simon Lees, Adrian Marx and Joe Basketts from SHY, I have many songs left still to be worked on. If it wasn't for the discovery of Linkan Andersson and the TNT machine, I think this album would already be written. So, a lighter rock album for the winter months for release around spring, I think. Z Records have shown great interest in this project and so with the oncoming onslaught of TNT in Europe, this may be the last chance I get to release any solo rock material for a long time. So, guess I'd better get on with it..."

Meanwhile the release of the "Crank It Up" album that Mills co-wrote with Linkan Andersson of ZOODRIVE has been delayed by serious artwork problems which Z Records has since resolved. A November 20 release is now expected.
