TO/DIE/FOR: Is It All Over?

Someone claiming to be Jape Perätalo, the frontman of the acclaimed Finnish act TO/DIE/FOR, has posted a message via the group's official message board announcing the band's imminent split due to “business” reasons and vowing to carry on in a as-yet-unnamed new project together with NEW DAWN FOUNDATION members Juppe and Santtu. After the above-mentioned message had been posted, an announcement from TO/DIE/FOR's webmaster came indicating that the message board would be turning into a “read-only” forum in order to avoid having it filled with “rumors”, and closed out the message by stating that the band “is not breaking up”. Here is the posting in its entirety from the person claiming to be TO/DIE/FOR vocalist Jape Perätalo:

“i am so @#%$ bored because of this kind of business,that i can´t find any reason why i/we should go on!!!!!!!!so,,,,,we´re going to play in mexico 23-24.2.2002 and that´s it!!!!it was soooo great to play with this band but those @#%$ monkey business guys sucks big time!!!!!!!our booking agency in finland(PIIKKIKASVI) sucks......they are assholes everyone!!!!!they can´t pay anything for us!!!!we´ve been played our gigs for free!!!!!believe or not but this is true!!!
now i´m going to do something else...there is a new band(nameless nowadays)...i´m playing with juppe and santtu (from new dawn foundation)and we´re going to record some demos soon.....but now it´s better that tdf is history........THANK YOU ALL AND SEE YA SOMEWHERE SOMEDAY SOMEHOW...YOURS: JAPE
