1349 To Join CANNIBAL CORPSE Tour This Weekend

April 24, 2010

After they were forced to miss the first couple of shows of the CANNIBAL CORPSE North American tour due to via issues, Norwegian black metallers 1349 have announced that they will join the in-progress trek sometime this weekend. The band says, "Frost [drums] is further delayed due to additional paperwork, but Tony Laureano [ex-DIMMU BORGIR, ANGELCORPSE, NILE] will step in until Frost arrives.

"At the moment it looks like the first show will be at Crazy Donkey, Long Island on April 25th. The 26th will be spent at Duff's in Brooklyn."

"Demonoir", the fifth full-length album from 1349, is scheduled for release on April 26 in Europe via Indie Recordings and one day later in North America through Prosthetic Records. The CD was recorded at Studio Nyhagen, deep in the woods in Norway with Tom G. Warrior (HELLHAMMER, CELTIC FROST),who showed the greatest respect for the task and played a key role as motivator and catalyst. His technical role of the recording was that of a co-producer, but far more important was his presence and understanding of what a challenging project "Demonoir" was.

Prosthetic Records has launched the pre-order for the North American versions of the album; a digipack CD and a limited edition (only 666 made) 12" picture-disc LP. The CD and LP can be purchased individually or together, or in a bundle with a T shirt.

Pre-order yours now at the Prostheticwebstore.

1349 is:

Ravn - Vocals
Archaon - Guitar
Seidemann - Bass
Frost - Drums
