TOMBS: New Song Posted Online

January 9, 2009

A new song from Brooklyn, New York's TOMBS, entitled "Beneath The Toxic Jungle", is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. The track comes off the group's Relapse debut, "Winter Hours", which was recorded at the Etching Tin Studios in Richmond, Virginia with engineer Ian Whalen. Other songtitles set to appear on the CD include "The Divide", "Gossamer", "The Great Silence", and "Filled With Secrets". A February 17 release is expected (February 23 internationally).

TOMBS recently filmed a video for the track "Gossamer" in Brooklyn with director Kevin Custer (KINGDOM OF SORROW, TESTAMENT, BENEATH THE MASSACRE) for Toaster In The Tub. The clip is currently in post-production and is expected to see its premiere in February.

TOMBS will embark on brief East Coast tour with labelmates DYSRHYTHMIA in early February. The band also has a number of regional shows lined up leading up to the tour.

Metal Injection has posted video footage of TOMBS performing on October 23, 2008 at the Knitting Factory in New York City. Watch the clip below.
