TOMMY LEE: Trailer For '10th & Wolf' Movie Available Online
July 15, 2006A trailer for the upcoming film "10th & Wolf", featuring MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee's first full-fledged acting role, has been posted online at the movie's official web site, 10thandwolf.com.
Based on a real-life mob war in Philadelphia that took place during the late '80s and early '90s, "10th & Wolf" (which was actually shot in Pittsburgh) follows the attempts of one mob family to wrest control of a piece of turf when the head of another mob family is incarcerated. The cast also includes Giovanni Ribisi, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Piper Perabo, Dash Mihok, Lesley Ann Warren and Brian Dennehy. "10th & Wolf" is the feature directorial debut for Bobby Moresco, who won an Oscar with Paul Haggis for their screenplay for "Crash".
"I just did this role with some amazing actors," Lee told MTV.com back in November 2004. "[Ribisi] is amazing. It's really hard-core, kind of violent. You'll have to look for it. They're just about done shooting it."
"10th & Wolf" is set to open in theaters on August 18, 2006.
Check out a video clip of Lee making his full-fledged acting debut in "10th & Wolf" (in which he plays a supporting part as a clueless club bouncer called Jimmy Tats) at MTV.com.
