TOMMY THAYER On CAMP PENDLETON Visit: 'I've Never Felt So Welcome'
March 12, 2007KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer has posted the following message on his official web site:
"Gene Simmons and I visited the Marines of Camp Pendleton this last Friday, March 9th to perform at a rally for the troops in honor of all U.S. Armed Forces. We played a medley of the Armed Forces anthems to members of the Army, Navy, Air Force and the Marines to a packed house at the base theater. I've never felt so welcome. The troops kept telling us 'Thank you for being here,' and I had to keep telling them, 'No, it's our honor to be here; thank you for everything that you are doing for us and our country!' The entire event was filmed for 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels', which will air on Memorial Day weekend in May on A&E."
