TONY IOMMI Discusses HEAVEN AND HELL In Latest GUITAR WORLD

March 13, 2007

BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Guitar World magazine (May 2007). In the accompanying interview, conducted by Richard Bienstock, Iommi discusses the history of the SABBATH lineup that is currently touring under the HEAVEN AND HELL banner, and talks about the equipment used during the recording of the "Heaven and Hell" album, and about what the band will be playing on the road this year. "We've ignored a lot of this material for a long time, and it'll be great fun to play again," Iommi said. The issue, which also includes contributions from Ronnie James Dio and Geezer Butler, is available now. Click here to check out the cover.

HEAVEN AND HELL — which is made up of Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, Ronnie James Dio, and Vinny Appice — will wrap its Canadian tour with MEGADETH and DOWN on March 28 in Ottawa. A U.S. trek with support from MEGADETH and MACHINE HEAD will launch April 22 in Phoenix, Arizona.
