TONY IOMMI: More 'Fused' Tracks Available For Preview

May 4, 2005

GLENN HUGHES fan site GHPG.net has uploaded an audio file containing a new two-song preview ("Wasted Again" and "Face Your Fear") from the forthcoming Tony Iommi solo album, "Fused", plus comments from Tony at this location.

The recording comes from Iommi's head-to-head Sirius Satellite Radio interview with "Sound of the Beast" author Ian Christe, which aired on Tuesday (May 3) and is scheduled to air again on Friday, May 6 at 1:00 p.m. EST on Sirius "Hard Attack"/27's weekly "Bloody Roots" heavy metal history lesson, hosted by Christe. The show will also include rare SABBATH demo tracks.

Joining the BLACK SABBATH guitarist on "Fused" is former DEEP PURPLE vocalist/bass guitarist Glenn Hughes and former JOHN MELLENCAMP drummer Kenny Aronoff, who has also played sessions with the likes of THE ROLLING STONES, BOB DYLAN, ROD STEWART, ALICE COOPER, BOB SEGER, LYNYRD SKYNYRD and countless others.

Iommi's third solo album, "Fused" is scheduled for release on July 12 via Sanctuary Records. A tour to promote "Fused" will take place later this year after BLACK SABBATH finishes headlining the 10th anniversary Ozzfest tour.
