TONY IOMMI: Video Report From Ridgewood Book Signing

November 3, 2011

Damian of Black-Sabbath.com has posted a video report on BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi's firist U.S. book-signing event, which took place this past Tuesday, November 1 at Bookends in Ridgewood, New Jersey. The tree-minute clip, which can be seen below, incudes interviews with fans waiting in line as well as a short chat with Tony himself.

Iommi's memoir, "Iron Man: My Journey Through Heaven And Hell With Black Sabbath", was released in the United States on November 1 in hardback by Perseus Books/DeCapo Press.

Tony Iommi spoke to Gibson.com on November 1 and confirmed he still has riffs and songs ready for a new album. But will it be BLACK SABBATH album?

"I still have tons of stuff," Iommi said. "I'm almost bursting at the seams with ideas, all the time. It's just finding the time. I'm lucky in that regard. But having said that, who knows where it would come out?"

In "Iron Man", Iommi revealed he has at least six demos from recent years with Ozzy Osbourne singing. He now tells Gibson.com that they have not been heard outside his studio. "They are still kicking around," says Iommi. "I'll decide what I do. There are all these rumors flying around about a BLACK SABBATH reunion, but we'll have to see. If it was the original lineup, great. But we will have to see. Some riffs, I wouldn't use on a new BLACK SABBATH album, anyway. I'd have to change them. But I've still got loads of ideas."
