TOOL Frontman Opens Store

October 29, 2008

According to The Pulse of Radio, TOOL frontman Maynard James Keenan has opened a retail store named after his side project PUSCIFER in the town of Jerome, Arizona, where Keenan also makes his home. The shop features all the items available at the online PUSCIFER store, as well as local art and coffee plus other limited edition items. The store is located at 403 Clark Street in the mountainside town, which boasted a population of 343 in the 2006 census and was described in 1903 as "the wickedest town in the west."

Jerome became famous as a ghost town after its mining industry closed up decades ago, but the village has been reborn as an art and tourism center.

Keenan also operates two vineyards in nearby Sedona.

PUSCIFER recently issued "Momma Sed" as the third video from its 2007 debut album, "V Is For Vagina". An album containing remixes of nine PUSCIFER songs, called "D Is For Dubby", is also now available at Puscifer.com.

A touring version of PUSCIFER may perform live in Las Vegas next February.

Keenan and his wine-making partner, Eric Glomski, have been doing a series of wine signings at Whole Foods supermarkets in California, Arizona and Nevada. Their next stop is a Whole Foods in Henderson, Nevada on November 5.
