TOOL Songs, Venue Coming To 'Guitar Hero: World Tour'

September 10, 2008

The Pulse of Radio reports: TOOL will have three songs featured on the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour video game, according to a press release from game publisher Activision. In addition to the three tracks, the game will also feature a performance venue designed with input from the band that's described as highlighting "the art style that has become a staple in their music videos, live shows and album artwork." The three songs set for inclusion are "Schism", "Parabola" and "Vicarious".

Other songs appearing on the game include tracks from MUSE, METALLICA, STING, SMASHING PUMPKINS, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, OZZY OSBOURNE, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, JIMI HENDRIX and dozens of others.

METALLICA's entire "Death Magnetic" album will be available for the game, along with an extended version of one cut from the disc, "Suicide and Redemption".

Guitar Hero: World Tour is set for release on October 26.

TOOL is currently taking a break following nearly two years of touring behind its last album, 2006's "10,000 Days".
