TOOL To Headline Australia's BIG DAY OUT Festival?

August 17, 2006

Undercover News reports that TOOL have announced Australian tour dates in Melbourne and Sydney in January next year.

It has been five years since the band were last in Australia touring behind their then-current release "Lateralus".

The official announcement promises shows to be added in Auckland, "Queensland", Adelaide and Perth, which together with the fact that these shows are put on by Big Day Out organizers Lees & West, gives credence to the rumor that the band will be headlining the 2007 festival.

TOOL Australian tour dates:

Jan. 24 - Entertainment Centre – Sydney, AUS
Jan. 31 - Myer Music Bowl - Melbourne, AUS

Tickets are on sale Friday, August 25 through Ticketmaster.
